bluesbell replied to your photo: I’m not bad. I’m just drawn that way.
It’s like we watched ALL THE SAME MOVIES growing up. I used to watch this one constantly.
That’s how we came out so well-adjusted and charming! (All respect to my folks, but I sometimes think I was part raised by the VHS player. ) If something’s worth watching twice, it was worth watching 80 times. Jessica Rabbit as pre-teen role model: doing it wrong RIGHT.

It’s Others-esque, in period setting and overall quite tone. WWI feelings everywhere. But Rebecca Hall! In 1920’s outfits! She even wears a suit/tie at one point! Smoking and making latin puns! Also Dominic West in a 20’s suit. Also Dominic West very much out of a 20’s suit. It’s the film that keeps on giving.
I have my own tag, sweet! (unless its automatically generated, herpderp) I love your tags; there should be a Great Tumblr Tag-Off and you could be crowned Queen of the Tagverse in my book. I originally intended to use the reply feature to this until I realized what a load of wank the text-limit constraints are. It’s an inherently broken system.
On topic: What I’ve seen of Mr. West’s work was him playing this Roman general in a very charming sword n’ sandal feature - ‘Centurion’. “Michael Fassbender was in it.” So while I know of his work on The Wire et al., I daren’t add another Man of the Hour to an increasing squee-worthy list (I’m a straight male, for whatever that admission’s worth).
Rebecca Hall can be wearing whatever garb as long as she keeps doing that whole damsel routine of hers. She does it so well.
(Tags are one of the joys of existance! Danke shoen!) I have been theatre-stalking DWest for several years now - generally if it’s Simon Russell Beale or West it’s an auto-purchase. Have yet to see The Wire, but after I’m through the West Wing, it’s up next! RE: squee-worthy lists: the more the merrier my friend, gender-variety is the spice of life. I’m dangerously close to fan-casting Ms Hall in the role of my URL, so fab is she.
bluesbell replied to your photo: It’s Others-esque, in period setting and overall… How to reply to replies: Copy the whole “so-and-so-replied to your post…” as it appears on your dash and paste onto a text post. Also, I love The Others and latin puns, so I can’t wait to see this movie!
Copy/paste also an option I see. *I am inVINcible*! Yeah, so not gonna lie, I was tense watching it in that J Horror kind of way (aaaaaaah creepy child ghosts) and it does have a fair few cheap scares, but I’m never one to judge of the cheapness of your horror tropes. Bring it. I kind of loved everyone in that bar.
